Who you are dealing with

Walid El Omari, freelance creative strategist and video editor, Casablanca, Morocco (ICE 003990728000078, RC 468514).

Short-form retainers and ad creative sets paid by card on this site are sold and invoiced by ShiftGrid Labs LLC, a Wyoming (USA) limited liability company, through Stripe. The charge on your statement reads SHIFTGRID LABS LLC. Custom projects (motion, 3D, explainers) are quoted and invoiced by Walid El Omari directly unless the quote says otherwise.

Scope and briefs

Every project starts with a written brief: goal, audience, hook options, structure, deliverables and deadline. The brief is the scope. Work outside it is quoted separately before it starts.

Turnaround

The first cut lands on the date agreed in the brief. Simple shorts and UGC ads usually take 24 to 72 hours; heavier motion pieces are scoped per brief, usually 3 to 7 days. Dates move only if source footage, assets or feedback arrive late.

Revisions

Three revision rounds are included per edit, delivered asynchronously through comments. A round is one consolidated set of notes. Changes to the brief itself are a new scope, not a revision.

Payment

Retainers are billed monthly in advance and renew until cancelled. Project work is 50% at kickoff and 50% on final delivery. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax your country may add. Every payment comes with an invoice. Final files are released when the balance is settled.

Ownership and portfolio use

You own the delivered videos in full once paid. Project files stay with me unless the quote includes them. I may show finished work in my portfolio and on social media unless you ask for confidentiality in writing before kickoff.

Your materials

You confirm you hold the rights to the footage, music, logos and likenesses you send, and you take responsibility for how the final videos are used.

Projects I decline

Dating platforms, betting and anything I consider immoral. No exceptions, and no refund questions arise because the work never starts.

Liability

My liability on any project is capped at the amount you paid for it. I am not liable for indirect losses, platform decisions or ad performance.

Changes and law

These terms can change; the date above tells you the current version. Contracts invoiced by ShiftGrid Labs LLC are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA. Contracts invoiced by Walid El Omari are governed by the laws of Morocco.
